Japan Youth Study Group
The Japan Youth Study Group consists centrally of sociologists and educators who conduct research and studies on youths.
Our aim is to empirically understand our youth’s life awareness, set of values, personal relationships and cultural behavior within a background; varied by the urbanization and informatization of modern society
Throughout our 40-year history, we have published many academic books and papers. The latest project, spanning from 2019 to 2024, resulted in several papers and a book titled Reflexive Lives (2025, published in Japanese, Keiso Shobo).
